- The position supports the Manager Cabin Crew Training with the varied training requirements of the department. Is a role model and has a genuine passion for delivering high quality training. This in turn will lead to a safe and secure on board working environment and the delivery of excellent customer service to our passengers.
Major Areas of Responsibility: - To expand and develop the instructional design course ware in all subjects
- To ensure regulatory compliance of course ware, along with classroom and practical training delivery
- To carry out both practical and classroom training sessions for cabin crew & pilots including but not exclusive to the following areas: Aviation Security, Dangerous Goods, Fire & Smoke, SEP, First Aid, Customer/Cabin and Sales
- Conducting training & check flights as required and to the standard set by flydubai
- Support and promote a culture of safety and security within the Cabin Crew Training Department
- To remain operationally current and ensuring all flying documentation remains valid
- To conduct aircraft visits for cabin crew
- To supply feedback on the effectiveness of course material to the Manager Cabin Crew Training
Primary Objectives:
- To ensure all regulatory training for pilots and cabin crew remains compliant at all times
- To help develop and offer guidance to all training delegates
- To help develop the Cabin Crew Training Department
- To promote the safety culture within flydubai
Job Requirements
- Broad knowledge and experience in: Aviation Training of both cabin crew & pilots
- Above average skills in: Microsoft Office products and able to use Multimedia as a training tool
- Excellent skills in: Written & spoken English, facilitation & communication
- Demonstrated ability in : leadership & guidance within a Cabin Crew Training Department
- Demonstrated ability in: Attention to detail & quality
- Demonstrated ability in : Problem solving & decision making
- General knowledge & Experience of: Training both Economy & Business Class products
Education and Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in a training role within the airline industry
- Recognised aviation training qualifications in at least two of the following subjects: Aviation Security, Dangerous Goods, Aviation Medicine, SEP, CRM
- Previous Cabin Crew line operational experience in a Senior Role
- Excellent working knowledge of Cabin Crew Operations, Procedures and Operational Manuals
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is quite regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
- The noise level in the work environment can be quiet, moderate our loud depending on the subject being trained.
- The employee will also be exposed to prolonged periods of time working at a computer and on their feet presenting lessons to delegates both in a simulator and classroom environment.
