Purpose
This role represents the interests of Air Arabia in Libya for the purpose of increasing the Company’s market share and developing new opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
• Leads the drive for sales for Air Arabia in Libya.
• Oversees operational activities of Air Arabia in Libya.
• Presents opportunities to start new destination within the assigned territory.
• Negotiates and acquires traffic rights and airport slot within Libya.
• Develops and maintains relationships with government ministries, civil aviation authorities, tourism departments and other government or semi-government agencies.
• Inspires and motivates General Sales Agents and others engaged in sales activities in Libya to achieve outstanding sales performance. Initiates and drives sales campaigns for Libya.
• Analyses sales performance for Libya, providing feedback to the Head of Sales & Marketing identifying areas for concern and take appropriate measure to address concerns.
• Monitors the performance of General Sales Agents in Libya, quickly identifying areas where sales targets are not being achieved, conducting analysis, determining the root cause and taking prompt corrective action.
• Supports CM to Identifies new opportunities for sales, new markets and agents in Libya.
• In particular, identifying the unique needs of Libya, this may be met by Air Arabia products and services. Produces recommendations based on cost/benefit analysis.
• Recruit and select staff in new areas, helps establish the office and monitor its operations. Selects travel agents based on established criteria.
• Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with Company Department Heads so as to ensure support, assistance and advice in managing financial, human resources, engineering, purchasing PR, marketing and IT issues for Libya.
• Reviews GSA Performance quarterly to ensure it is in line with Air Arabia Commercial Agreement.
• Provides clear cut guidelines and focus to his team members in the assigned territories.

Desired Profile
Essential -Bachelor’s degree and some management experience, incl. several years as a sales manager. Experience of the airline industry in a sales or marketing desirable.
