ExecuJet Middle East Flight Operations Department has the following position open for a suitably qualified professional:

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Operation and handling of corporate aircraft at KKIA FBO and manages staff and equipment resources effectively
  • Ensures effective communication at all levels both internally and externally on all matters relating to the arrival and departure of corporate aircraft. Provides overall supervision of all FBO related ramp and terminal activity
  • Audits: Ensures the safe and efficient and reviews departmental procedures and practices, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date
  • Ensures all staff provide an exemplary level of customer service to all customers, including passengers, their associates and corporate aircraft crews
  • Management and operation of the Corporate Aviation FBO including VIP lounge and crew rest facilities
  • Responsible for the Day to day running of the FBO
  • Dealing with customer complaints and queries
  • Close liaison with authorities and third party providers
  • Implements operational procedures and airside safety policies for handling corporate aircraft
  • Leads a team of staff and ensures that they are motivated, well informed, disciplined and co-ordinated. Run annual appraisals
  • Carries out annual staff assessments for all FBO staff and completes report to be agreed with the individual staff and placed on their personal file
  • Recommends staff for salary increase and/or promotion
  • Responsible for staff welfare; overtime calculations, rostering, allocation of staff, uniforms, appearance etc.
  • Involved in the development and management of budgets which are approved by senior management
  • Produces statistical analysis for presentation to colleagues and senior Management i.e. monthly report including financial review, trends, performance etc
  • Liaises with Operations Director and Marketing Manager for marketing
  • Close liaison with Charter Sales Manager with respect to customer requirements and concerns
  • Ensures the safe manoeuvring of aircraft on the apron through staff training, operating instructions, manpower planning and the management of a disciplined approach to all aircraft and equipment movements which are critical on the restricted area of the ramp.  This is especially pertinent in the event of adverse weather conditions, aerodrome or operational incidents or other disruptions
  • Enforce security and safety procedures in the FBO and on the ramp
  • Manages the raising of invoices, the collection and safeguarding of money and the completion of cash reports and makes cash deposits
  • Record and report to the Operations Director, incidents relating to safety in the workplace having taken immediate action and having made preliminary investigations
  • Draws up staff training plans and related record keeping
  • Represents the FBO at meetings, both interdepartmental and with external agencies
  • Complete any other tasks and duties as reasonably required by the Operations Director or as required by the job
  • Also responsible for the maintenance of all FBO equipment in good operating condition and appearance
  • Overall responsible for safety of staff and visitors/users of the  FBO and Ramp
  • Responsible for maintaining close contact with all FBO customers to ensure that the service ExecuJet gives meets or exceeds the requirements of the customer
