Job Description :
We are seeking a high-calibre individual to assist the Manager Ground Services and Cargo to perform the following responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the Service Level Agreement with the service provider. Ensure the listed items are being fulfilled and regular updates are being established
- Diagnose and investigate the root causes of all the safety related cases on ground handling and cargo services. Find ways to avoid recurrences and improve safety standard across the network
- Assist to lead various safety review and emergency response meetings with all the services providers to maintain a high standard in ground and cargo safety awareness and emergency response readiness
- Establish regular communication with the service providers to ensure relevant policies and procedures are documented in the operational manuals and properly carried out at the frontline operations. Audit and check the implementation and execution result at the various outstations
- Conduct station visit to understand local constraints and airport development plans. Assist local stations to improve quality service delivery and ensure proper operational procedures are in place
- Coordinate and take part in the regular E&A table-top / full-scale exercises across the network and at the Head Office to ensure local readiness and awareness of handling emergency situation
- Work closely with the various Dragonair internal departments to deal with concerns on ground and cargo services handling issues
- Actively involved in ad hoc projects, e.g. IOSA audit preparations, airport authority E&A exercise coordination, new station setup / new GHA / new system / charter flight coordination, etc.
Job Requirements :- Tertiary education
- Minimum 8 years working experiences in airport or cargo related fields, in which at least 3 years in the supervisory role
- Good command in the Departure Control System. Knowledge in loading and loadsheet handling is desirable
- Well versed in airport ground handling and cargo services operations. Equipped with the necessary skills to handle emergency and accident situations
- A travel lover to conduct various port visits within the network
- Good analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, able to perform job prioritization and show team spirit
- Sound knowledge in using Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Words, Excel, Power Point
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. Fluency in Putonghua would be an added advantage
The successful candidate will be employed by Cathay Pacific and be seconded to Dragonair.
