The Flight Planning and Navigation Services Section of Flight Operations Department is looking for a high calibre candidate to perform effective navigation services for flight dispatch and flight crews to support safe, efficient and cost-effective operations of flights.
Key Responsibilities:- Study available navigation information to identify impacts on flight planning system and aircraft navigation databases, and to disseminate the applicable information to related parties.
- Support safe and efficient operations of flight by updating relevant systems in time for operations and notify concerned parties appropriately, by controlling the contents of navigational flight documents, and by preparing flight planning references.
- Coordinate with the vendors or concerned parties where and when necessary.
- Maintain an updated aeronautical information publication library by monitoring, keep tracking and updating the aeronautical manuals.
- Provide most updated information to flight crews by maintaining the content of portpages and related company NOTAMs.
- Support effective seasonal schedule implementation and dispatching of flights by preparing route preference order and route details for clearances application, and by updating the system with clearance approval information.
- Prepare and provide Briefing Folder to support operations of charter and delivery flights.
- Analyse feedback to help identify potential problems or issues for contributing and improving the overall data and operational integrity.
- Support flight crew's self-learning activities by providing study-CFD packages.
- Execute specific tasks as required by NS Coord/AMN(O).
Job Requirements :
- Minimum F. 5 standard, with a pass in English subject in HKCEE or equivalent
- Possess at least 2 years or above working experience in navigation services / flight dispatch area
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- A good team player with ability to work independently
- Proficiency in AIRPATH, Honeywell FMS NavDB and ARINC424 is definite advantageous
