The Position:
This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong.
Internal Audit Department is responsible for providing independent and objective evaluations of the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal financial control systems in various areas and functions of the Company and its group’s companies and making relevant recommendations for improvement. This position allows you to gain exposure to different activities within the Cathay Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in planning and executing audit assignments and special reviews for different group companies and functions
- Report audit findings and recommendations
- Follow up the status of implementing the audit recommendations
Job Requirements :- Degree holder with an internationally recognised Auditing or Accounting qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ audit experience in a recognised accounting firm or multi-national organisations
- Sound analytical and report writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to convince and influence others
- Ability to create and maintain good working relationships with all levels of staff members
- A team player who is self-initiated, independent and able to meet tight schedule
- Excellent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
- At least 20% of travel should be expected
