The Position:
Cathay Pacific is looking for dedicated individuals to join the Information Management (IM) Team as Business Solutions Leads. This involves having a lead role in the identification and analysis as well as execution of a portfolio of IT projects. You will ensure that requirements are elicited in collaboration with business stakeholders to a level that enables all IM teams to deliver quality products that are aligned with business vision and meet the stated business benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide senior pre-project consulting for a portfolio of pipeline projects
- Draw out high-level business requirements ensuring requirements meet business & company objectives
- Conduct feasibility studies, process reviews, project impact analysis
- Assist in business case preparation in partnership with business stakeholders driving and challenging assumptions as needed
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and task and workflow analysis for major and minor projects
- Identify and document constraints, assumptions and risks associated with business requirements
- Ensure ownership and traceability of business requirements through the project life cycle
- Engage with business stakeholders through the project lifecycle with clear & timely communications to ensure that requirements are delivered with common understanding
- Manage relationships with peers and business stakeholders to enable the delivery of common requirements across various departments.
- Work on identifying project crossover between departments to minimise cost
- Work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and other IM domains
- Keep abreast of business domain’s strategy, business plan and latest industrial trends
Job Requirements :
- Degree holder in IT, Business or related area
- Possess 10 years of IT experience with at least 7 years in a corresponding business area
- Strong background in either programme management, change management, project management or business analysis together with excellent grasp of project analysis
- Proven extensive client facing skills both internally and externally
- Understanding of business processes, analysis or modelling
- Strong analytical mind with excellent relationship management and communication management skills to drive change
- A consulting background with airline exposure would be advantageous
