The Position:
The Project Practice Manager is responsible for implementing and managing the practice’s frameworks, processes and toolsets and leading and building project delivery community of practices,.  The role is responsible for the alignment and integration of the practice with the other I.T practices including the Architecture, Development, BA and Testing practices.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve methodologies for the effective development, maintenance and governance of project delivery
  • Define and manage the exception (non-compliance) and escalation process for non-standard delivery processes
  • Train and support all project\programme\PMO managers such that they have a thorough understanding of the required methodologies, standards and policies
  • Ensure that employees, contractors, and vendors have the necessary skills to employ the defined project delivery methods and utilise the specified toolsets
  • Improve toolsets for project and portfolio management
  • Train project\programme\PMO Managers, in proper usage and content maintenance with the above toolsets
  • Align and integrate the project delivery framework and methodologies with the other practices (Architecture, BPM, Development, Infrastructure, BA, Testing, Operations)
  • Define and ensure the execution and effectiveness of the project QA review process for projects
  • Work with other IMT departments on the recruiting process
  • Support the project delivery content repository to ensure that content is accurate, relevant and up-to-date
  • Manage internal project delivery communications channels (Intracx, SharePoint)
  • Manage and facilitate practice meetings
  • Coach and mentor other project\programme\PMO managers.
Job Requirements :
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least recent 5 years in related position
  • Demonstrable leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Highly motivated and have passion to drive the outcome
  • Strong Knowledge of all aspects of project delivery
