Job Qualifications:
- The Lead Aviation Maintenance Technician position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. An Airframe and Powerplant license is required.
- Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts. Candidate must have the ability to act as the working leader of a group of AMT's and/or ASMs, plan and layout work, instruct and supervise the work of the group.
- As well as be a leader in the areas of continuous improvement and safety. Additionally, candidate must be able to read and write English and comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals. Candidate must also be able to work and operate in a safe and compliant manner.
- Must be able to work without close supervision. Candidate should have strong organizational skills and be able to respond to changing or multiple work demands.
- Must achieve a satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude test which is structured to determine the ability to perform essential job functions. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
To qualify for this position you must:
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to pass an extensive background check, drug test and audiogram
- Be authorized to work in the US
- Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
