Job Description :

This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong.
 
 The purpose of the positions is to co-ordinate and implement key change management activities in ENG around M&E software development, utilization of data for business intelligence and decision making and business processes and to take on the role of an expert advisor in all queries relating to the above in at least one particular area of the Engineering spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and establish synergies between software functions, data and business process
  • Manage and participate in the development of new changes to the M&E software and Business processes and manage the implementation of these into the BU
  • Explain or develop the intelligent use of existing software functions and business data to improve operational efficiencies and drive the adoption of these into BU
  • Dissect and challenge detailed business processes into regulatory/mandatory, value contributing and redundant value categories in order to challenge the end-state desirable
  • Provide a holistic perspective on agenda processes, with due consideration to their impact on upstream, downstream and adjacent processes
  • Fully engage with the Business Units (BU) to identify and develop future opportunities using change and project management skill sets
  • Be an expert advisor to Engineering on the subjects of Processes, Data and M&E software functions
  • Establish and agree business process enhancement project deliverable with BU to derive detailed road maps and implementation plans
  • Engage with BU on prioritization of business process enhancement projects
  • Convey scope, value, plan, deliverable and final picture for project activities to cross functional stakeholders
  • Develop and establish continuous metrics to demonstrate the value of business process enhancement projects.
  • Influence and align decisions between all stakeholders
  • Develop and implement the requirements for sustained training around the M & E system in Engineering
  • Facilitate and co-ordinate BU to ensure EPM and training manuals are maintained
  • Support Business Process Development Manager in developing necessary organizational change models
  • Deputize Business Process Development Manager when required
Job Requirements :
  • Tertiary educated, preferably in Engineering discipline
  • At least 8 years experience in maintenance support area, with sound business and functional knowledge in Ultramain and Engineering systems
  • Sound experience in business process re-engineering and in delivering projects with ability to multitask and managing multiple projects in cross-BU environments
  • Proven record in driving change to effect substantial business value improvements
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, collaboration and communications skills with strong influencing capabilities
  • High level of self motivation
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships by facilitating and influencing decision making at management levels
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English
