Job Description :

  • We are seeking a high-calibre individual to make a real difference, as Assistant Cargo Services Manager – Operation Support, your principle responsibilities are to support network-wide cargo safety, operational excellence and service quality by developing cargo standards and handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop policies, standards and compliance program of cargo handling (including general cargo, mail & courier).
  • Design and develop cargo related systems, like CUBIC, DLD and Ezy-suite, to meet regulatory (e.g. Customs) and operational requirements.
  • Regular review, update and distribute cargo documents, guidelines, checklists and other related materials.
  • In-charge and maintain the content related of CX/KA cargo team site and BP site where cargo services related materials are uploaded and published.
  • Act as the project coordinator and work closely with cross-departments in supporting cargo related development.
  • Represent the airline in various IATA working groups.
Job Requirements :
  • Tertiary education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in air cargo operations with solid supervisory experience.
  • Sound cargo services and operational knowledge, e.g. Dangerous Goods handling and regulations, special cargo handling and regulations, Cargo Services and Tariff etc.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English. Good Cantonese and/or Putonghua is an advantage.
  • Sound planning and organizing skills with the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks within defined time constraints.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact with people at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Willing to travel overseas as and when required.
  • Excellent business acumen with good analytical and problem solving skills.
