In Cathay Pacific, the Sales Development section in Sales & Distribution Department contributes to a number of initiatives to work with internal and external parties to generate revenue opportunities for the airline.
Key Responsibilities:- Helps external vendors and consultants of sales skills training understand and fulfil the training need of CX worldwide sales teams
- Prepare the full year training budget and training plan
- Coordinate sales skills training for worldwide sales teams and provide logistic support to the trainers and participants
- Develop business from the special revenue streams such as seamen and students. Negotiation contract with the agencies, monitor and review the performance
- Develop and maintain the various database of worldwide sales team headcount and training record
- Work on channel development initiatives including ancillary product assessment, market research and assisting with channel management meetings
- Involvement in the Integrated Channel Experience programme, through working group participation, meeting documentation, and providing general assistance to the programme team
Job Requirements :- Tertiary education, preferably with a degree in marketing or business administration
- Minimum 3 years airline experience preferably in Sales or Revenue Management or Project Management
- Proven project management and coordination skills
- Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good negotiation skills and commercial experience, as well as abreast of technology advancement
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Ability to work autonomously
- Willing to travel extensively
