The Flight Simulator Engineering section functions within the Flight Operations Department and is responsible for the acquisition, operation and maintenance of a variety of training equipment, ranging from Cabin Door Trainers through Full Flight Simulators. This equipment is used for training of pilots, flight attendants and engineers for Cathay Pacific, Dragonair and third-party customers.
Key Responsibilities:- To carry out routine maintenance and operations tasks on training equipment
- To perform pre-flight and routine checks
- To provide assistance during emergency troubleshooting and fault rectification
- To assist with updating simulation and/or aircraft specific software & hardware configuration
- To carry out workshop repairs as required
- To attend internal training to learn methods and practices associated with above duties
Job Requirements :- Higher Diploma or University Degree (in a technical field) or relevant experience
- Must have strong problem solving, teamwork, and time management skills
- Fluency in English and Cantonese required. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Valid Hong Kong Drivers license is preferable
