This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong.
 
Our Inflight Services Department is looking for a highly capable professional to join us as the Cabin Crew Communications Editor.

Under this dynamic section, you will contribute on written articles, be exposed to ISD communications project development, provide editorial support to various sections, and ensure ISD communications maintain a consistent standard.

Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee weekly coordination and publication of the Cabin Crew Newsletter, ensuring information is communicated in a professional and timely manner
  • Oversee monthly coordination and publication of the Cabin Crew Safety Newsletter
  • Provide script writing for JetSet TV
  • Research and write communication pieces for all cabin crew publications
  • Ensure all ISD communications are edited to standard and ensure communications to crew being transparent, professional, and user friendly
  • Support other sections in ISD with their communications to crew and ensure messages are consistent across ISD
  • Oversee production of Jetset including editing and writing material, overseeing layout, and coordinate submissions by cabin crew
  • Edit operationally essential information including PAs, manuals, Notices-To- Cabin Crew
  • Assist in management and maintenance of the ISD website and iCrew – an App for Cabin Crew
  • Provide technical support to ISD in the development of new communications strategies
  • Assist with all ad-hoc editing requests
Job Requirements :
  • Tertiary level qualification
  • Minimum 3 years experience in writing and/editing
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English is mandatory
  • Ability to translate written English to written Chinese would be of added advantage
  • Self-motivated and attentive to details
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Proficient in the applications of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of the crew community would be useful, but is not essential
  • Social media experience preferred
