Job Description:
  • This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong.
  • This role is responsible for ensuring the future CX/KA operating model is appropriately designed and implemented to embed the change & benefits of PSS Phase 2.
  • Develop strategy, design and implement organisational change required to support the delivery of PSS Phase 2.  This includes designing the future operational model (BAU model) to support the new solutions, and managing the transition into that model
  • Define the key benefits that will be delivered by PSS Phase 2, ensure there is a sustainable model for realising the benefits and embedding change
  • Design the ongoing support and business-as-usual operations model to support the new people, process, technology implemented
Key responsibilities:

Organisational Change Design
  • Design new/adjust existing operating models for supporting the future state designed by PSSP2 – including organisation structures; department/team accountabilities, responsibilities & KPI’s; supporting governance structures as necessary
  • Gain commitment, educate and ensure the new model is accepted and championed by senior stakeholders/owners
  • Drive all work required to define/redefine new roles, including related KPI’s, Job Descriptions, organisation structure design and input into recruitment/interview criteria for PNL/impacted departments
  • Drive related change management activities to embed the new design into operations (working with the PSSP2 Change Manager)
BAU Model & Handover
  • BAU Support Model: Define the future operating model required to support the new DCS solution – this includes functional & technical support & maintenance
  • This may be using existing support procedures, or may require a change/addition to the existing organisational responsibilities/structures
  • All organisational change activities required to establish and handover this model to CX
Benefits Definition
  • Benefits Target: Define/validate the benefits that will be achieved by the programme
  • Ensure these benefits are able to be clearly articulated to all stakeholders (executive, finance, impacted staff, external, customers etc)
  • Gain commitment and ownership from key business stakeholders, ultimately agreeing an approach to embed the benefits into future operations
  • Benefits Realisation Plan: Define the strategy, approach and working practices for benefits measurement & benefits realisation beyond the programme
  • Handover benefits measurement & realisation activities as necessary to IMT Portfolio / Impacted Business Units
Interaction with PSS Phase 2 Business Readiness Manager
  • The Org Change & Benefits Manager is a peer of the Business Readiness Manager
Interaction with PSS Phase 2 Change Manager
  • The PSSP2 Change Manager is responsible for detailing the change impacts, developing departmental change plans and ensuring these are implemented appropriately.  Some of the detailed change plans that the PSSP2 Change Manager is responsible for will be impacted by Organisational Changes and Benefits defined by the Org Change & Benefits Manager
  • The PSSP2 Change Manager will have a dotted line report, and needs to work closely with the Org Change & Benefits Manager
Job Requirements :
  • Minimum 10 years airline / travel industry experience, preferably in multiple airlines
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to provide advice and drive decisions with senior leaders (GM’s and Director’s)
  • Prior experience in business case development and approval
  • Proven ability to develop drive teams towards outcomes in vague and politically charged environments
  • Ideally 5 years experience in airline operations, with DCS implementation experience
  • Ideally 5 years experience in experience organisational change management, developing and implementing new organisation structures
  • History of pragmatic application of change techniques to embed organisational change
  • Cantonese/Mandarin speakers viewed favourably
