Yemen Airways supports it fleet with Airbus A350 aircraft that’s due in year 2012

Sana'a - The upgrading operations of Yemen Airways include adding to the fleet new aircraft through purchase deals of Airbus A350 airplanes, the first batch of these airplanes are expected to be received in year 2012.

“The CEO of the company, Captain Abdel Khalek Saleh Al Qadi has addressed the steps of modernization and upgrade that Yemenia Airways is witnessing in either its fleet or in increasing the network grid of its operational procedures, pointing out that these steps have contributed to making several achievements through operating in high quality and handling the strong competition that the air carrier sector is witnessing with seriousness and optimism,” said Al Mo’alami.

Mohammed Al Mo’alami, bureau chief of Yemenia Airways in Qatar said that the company contributes greatly to reinforcing the local and international air carrier sector through a number of flights that are launched to different Yemeni cities and then to European and Asian cities. Thanks to its modern fleet which includes a number of high-tech aircraft, Yemeni Airlines was able to become a main player in the aviation industry. He also underlined the company’s ability to enter the Doha market for air travel through providing high standard services, which made it gain credibility and trust.

Al Mo’alami underlined the improvement that Yemenia Airways has achieved in year 2007 by serving 1,614990 million passengers, a 10% increase compared to the number of clients in 2006.
