Air Arabia Increases Delhi, India Flight Services to Twice Daily

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Air Arabia, announced today the expansion of service to the Indian capital, New Delhi, from the carrier’s primary hub in Sharjah. thus the airline will provide 14 flights per week to India’s capital starting September 1st, 2012.

The New Delhi will depart Sharjah International Airport daily at 07:45 AM and 23:20 PM. While return flights depart Delhi International Airport daily at 13:05 PM and 04:40 AM (local time).

Adel Ali, Air Arabia's group chief executive officer, said, “The rapidly expanding aviation sector in India is one of the country’s major economic drivers.

“We are confident that the expansion of service between Sharjah and India’s capital will further enhance the air travel options for the residents of both states and positively contributes to the economic development of both countries.

“India has always been a market of focus for Air Arabia and we currently serve 13 cities across India from Sharjah, and this number reflects the ever growing appeal for Air Arabia flights between the two countries and we are looking forward to offer more customers our value for money air travel.”

Air Arabia started operations to New Delhi on 31st March 2008. Since then, the airline has witnessed increasing demand with a number of students and families fly regularly between Delhi and Sharjah.
