Etihad Airways Announces Management Reshuffling within its Commercial Division

Etihad Airways, have announced a number of managerial reshuffling within its commercial division.

The changes see Adam Phillips return to Abu Dhabi to take the position of vice president commercial strategy and planning. Craig Thomas will move to Bangkok to replace Adam as vice president Asia Pacific North and the Indian Subcontinent and Alan Glover will move from Dublin to Australia to replace Craig as Manager Sales Victoria.

Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ chief commercial officer said: “These are exciting moves within Etihad Airways’ Commercial Division and support the continued transformation of our business. Adam, Craig and Alan have been part of the Etihad Airways family for several years and will bring this crucial knowledge of the business to their new roles.”
 
According to statement by Etihad Airways, Adam Phillips’ new role as vice president commercial strategy and planning to develop and implement sales and distribution strategies across the global commercial division, the methods to sell flights and increase ancillary revenue. Adam will report directly to Peter Baumgartner.

Craig Thomas will move from his role as manager sales Victoria in Melbourne to replace Adam as vice president Asia Pacific North and the Indian Subcontinent, and will relocate to Bangkok.

Craig will be responsible for sales in the markets of Bangladesh, Belarus, China, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. Craig will report directly to Abu Dhabi-based, vice president global sales, Danny Barranger.

Alan Glover will move from his role as manager corporate sales in Dublin to replace Craig as manager sales Victoria in Melbourne. He will report to Luisa Pastrello, country manager Australia, and covers sales in Melbourne and in the state of Victoria, as well as neighboring states of South Australia and Tasmania.
