Asiana Airlines, one of Korea's flagship carriers and a member of the Star Alliance, will continue to rely on Lufthansa Technik AG for the next ten years. The two companies have extended and significantly expanded their existing Total Component Support TCS® agreement for the airline's fleet of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft. The agreement covers component pooling and MRO services for Asiana's strongly growing fleet of Airbus A320s, currently comprising 29 aircraft, and its eight Boeing 737s. As part of the new agreement, the scope of supply was extended to include many new part numbers.
The airline will be supplied from Lufthansa Technik's material pool and warehouses in Frankfurt and Hamburg.
