Cargolux Airlines Appoints a New Nominated Person Flight Operations

Luxembourg – Cargolux Airlines has appointed Jason Holt the cargo operator's new nominated person flight operations.

According to the Luxembourg’s Civil Aviation Authority the "nominated person flight operations" is the person holding the required licenses and experience and assigned by the aircraft operator responsible for the flight operations of the carrier.

All nominated persons appointments are subject to approval by Luxembourg’s Civil Aviation Authority. Holt's approval took effect on 15 October.

Holt's predecessor Wieger Ketellapper, has been moved to focus on development of the planned joint venture airline in Zhengzhou, China.

Jason Holt recently took the position as Cargolux’s new executive vice president of flight operations. He joined Cargolux from Easyjet Airlines where he held the position of head of Gatwick operations and operational strategy for the airline. 

Prior to joining Easyjet, Holt held management positions at Virgin Atlantic Airways and British Airways franchise BMED. 

Holt holds a UK Airline Transport Pilot’s License and is a graduate of the University of London, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Law School.
