Lufthansa Technik to Provide Component and Base Maintenance Services for Luxair Boeing 737NG Aircraft Fleet

Luxair has a fleet of 17 aircraft operates from Luxembourg airport to 42 destinations in Europe
Luxair and Lufthansa Technik concluded a seven years contract for component supply for the airline's fleet of Boeing 737NG aircraft and a contract for the base maintenance services on Luxair's Boeing 737NG aircraft during Winter 2014/2015.

The agreement named “Total Component Support TCS” covers component repair and overhaul services, pooling and the provisioning of a home base stock at Luxair's main base at Luxembourg airport. The base maintenance agreement is for C-checks to be completed at Lufthansa Technik Sofia during Winter 2014/2015.

The two companies have recently been working together on the aircraft production inspection programs (APIP), base maintenance services (BMS) and single component services (SCM), these new agreements are the confirmation of the business relation between both partners.

 

Luxair Luxembourg Airlines, the Group employs about 2,300 people. The other operating units in the Group are LUXAIR Cargo (Cargo Handling) and LUXAIR Service for Airport Services.
