AgustaWestland, announce the delivery of a GrandNew light twin helicopter to Eichsfeld Air Gmbh of Germany, be based in Berlin, while it will also be operated in Cote d'Azur (France) and Sardinia (Italy) during the summer season.

The GrandNew, is in VIP transport configuration, Eichsfeld Air’s helicopter features an exclusive 4-seat VIP interior layout and a cabin roof-embedded video screen.

The GrandNew is a certified light twin (CS/JAR/FAR 27) with an electronic flight instrument system (EFIS) featuring synthetic vision and has a global positioning system-based navigation for all weather operations. 

Orders for more than 330 helicopters from the Grand series have been placed by over 200 customers in nearly 40 countries worldwide, configured to VIP/corporate transport, passenger transport, EMS, SAR, harbor pilot shuttle, maritime patrol, law enforcement and water pollution monitoring missions.
