Air France Industries and Lufthansa Technik Joint Venture Makes Top Management Appointment

HAMBURG, Spairliners GmbH, the 50-50 Air France Industries and Lufthansa Technik joint venture has named Sven-Uve Hueschler as managing and financial director.
Hueschler took up his position from Andre Schulte-Bisping the former managing director and chief financial officer. Schulte-Bisping held this position for three and a half years and has returned to Lufthansa Technik.
Sven-Uve Hueschler has been with Lufthansa Technik AG for seven years and was the head of business development of the product division aircraft component services. Since Hueschler started his career at Lufthansa Technik he held several positions in international sales and business development ventures.
Dr. Burkhard Andrich, member of the supervisory board of Spairliners, said: "We are pleased to gain someone with such experiences in the MRO industry and moreover on strategic business development for Spairliners. Mr Hueschler's appointment fits in perfectly with the E-Jet expansion and the upcoming growth of the company",

Spairliners, covers all components for the aircraft type Airbus A380 and Embraer E170/175 and E190/195 with Qantas, Air France, Lufthansa, and Malaysia Airlines as customers. Its service includes the supply of its spare parts inventory, management of logistics and warehousing, as well as the maintenance and repair of the aircraft components. Spairliners, with headquarters in Hamburg, Germany and logistic hub in Paris, France.
