Pegasus Airlines and Lufthansa Technik Sign Base Maintenance Contract for Boeing 737NG

Pegasus Airlines has signed for up to 100 A320neo Family aircraft of which 75 are firm orders. It becomes a new Airbus customer and the first Turkish airline to order the A320neo.
Pegasus Airlines, the low-cost airline in Turkey and Lufthansa Technik have signed a base maintenance contract for three C-Checks for Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737NG aircraft at the Lufthansa Technik base maintenance location in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Sertac Haybat, general manager and member of the board of Pegasus Airlines, stated: "We have been very satisfied with the base maintenance work Lufthansa Technik delivered to us beginning of 2012.
It is therefore not surprising that we would trust Lufthansa Technik to deliver the same quality and level of service at a very competitive price once again."
Wolfgang Weynell, vice president marketing & sales of Lufthansa Technik added: "This new contract is the latest milestone of the partnership between Lufthansa Technik and Pegasus Airlines, one of our most important customers in the region. It is also a proof of the good competitiveness of our products."
Fulya Türköz, manager of Lufthansa Technik´s representative office in Istanbul Türkiye, commented: "Lufthansa Technik Group's network and its regional sites in Bulgaria and Hungary mean that local customers can rely on very good support no matter what they need."
Lufthansa Technik has opened 2012 a representative office in the Turkish metropolis Istanbul.
