BOC Aviation To Lease Three New A320-200 Aircraft To China Southern Airlines
BOC Aviation* has signed agreements for the lease of three new A320-200 aircraft to China Southern Airlines (“China Southern”). All three aircraft, to be equipped with IAE V2527-A5 SelectOne engines, are scheduled to be delivered in the first half of 2014.
China Southern and BOC Aviation started their business cooperation since 1993.
“We are delighted to close this transaction with China Southern, our company’s very first customer. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to play a continued role in its fleet development plans,” said Mr. Steven Townend, deputy managing director and chief commercial officer of BOC Aviation.
* BOC Aviation is an Asia-based aircraft leasing company with a portfolio of 213 owned and managed aircraft operated by airlines worldwide, with another 92 aircraft on firm order and 22 on committed purchase and leaseback. BOC Aviation is 100% owned by Bank of China. BOC Aviation will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
