Farnborough, Hainan Airlines has selected Rockwell Collins’ DispatchSM Program to service and support its fleet of ten Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Under the 10-year agreement, Rockwell Collins will provide Hainan Airlines with guaranteed spares availability, systems configuration updates, technical repairs, and performance monitoring on Rockwell Collins’ comprehensive suite of communications, surveillance, displays and pilot controls systems onboard the 787.

Scott Gunnufson, Rockwell Collins’ vice president and general manager, service solutions, said, “In addition to benefitting from the advanced safety, situational awareness and efficiency of our avionics onboard the 787, Hainan Airlines will experience our total life cycle support approach with the selection of our Dispatch service.

“Our ability to provide fast, reliable, in-country support through our in-country logistics partner was a key factor in this win.”
Hainan is one of six airlines that have selected Rockwell Collins dispatch to service their 787 fleet.
