During the Sabena technics general shareholders meeting held on March 22nd, TAT Group has decided to ammend the by-laws governing the company and its subsidiaries.

As a consequence, Rodolphe Marchais was appointed chairman and chief executive officer of Sabena technics, assisted in his functions by three chief operating officers, Jean-Luc Fournel, Philippe Rochet and Stéphane Burton, and by Jean-Marc Schaefer, chief financial officer.

Regarding Barfield, Sabena technics’ Americas subsidiary, Rodolphe Marchais has been confirmed as chairman of the board and appointed Frederic Denise chief executive officer.

Frederic Denise came to Barfield in 1996 and spent his first ten years as vice president of sales. He was promoted as chief operating officer in 2005 and focused to develop Barfield core activities on repair, PBH programs (power by the hour), distribution/trading and GSTE (ground support test equipment). During his tenure, Barfield developed new business and launched satellite repair stations in Phoenix (AZ), Louisville (KY) and Bogota (Colombia).

Rodolphe Marchais, commented on the new appointments, “I am confident that Barfield’s team will pursue the efforts already initiated to continually boost our professionalism and the quality of service provided to our customers.”
