Marshall Aerospace announced the appointment of Ian Atkinson as commercial and purchasing director. Atkinson's past professional experience included United Kingdom's Ministry of Defense- Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S), Royal Air Force, BAE Systems, GEC Marconi Avionics and director of the North West Aerospace Alliance.

His past position prior to the appointment with Marshall Aerospace was vice president industrialization for BAE Systems Saudi Arabia. 

Atkinson’s responsibilities within Marshall Aerospace will include, on the commercial side, overseeing arrangements with customers and supporting the company’s bid and proposal activities and, on the purchasing front, overseeing arrangements with suppliers and service-providers.
