Royal Jet Receives "World's Leading Private Jet Charter" 2011World Travel Awards

Abu Dhabi, Royal Jet, the Abu Dhabi-based corporate/executive jet operator, was awarded the "World's Leading Private Jet Charter" fifth year running at the World Travel Awards for 2011.

At the gala awards night held at the Katara Cultural Village in Doha, Qatar, Royal Jet's CEO, Shane O'Hare, was on hand to personally accept the  award. Other Royal Jet officials present at the event included Fahad Wali, Vice President for Commercial and Nasser Khamis Al Dhahri, Director of Protocol, as well as other key management staff of Royal Jet. Additionally, leading the list of Royal Jet's VIP guests at the event are Juma Rashed Al Daheri, the UAE Ambassador to Qatar and Faisal Al Ali, Diplomatic Attache at the UAE Embassy in Qatar.

"We are very pleased to receive this award," said His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan. "This award proves that Royal Jet is indeed a luxurious and globally-known brand and that it is the best, not only in the Middle East, but in the world. This award is a fitting and deserving gift for all the hard work and dedication provided by all our staff."

"The perseverance and commitment of Royal Jet and its extremely dedicated team of professionals, guided by the wisdom and full support of the members of our Board of Directors led by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, have enabled us to deliver nothing but the best and most luxurious global private jet charter service to be able to accomplish this feat.

Royal Jet's commitment to service has resulted in an increase in flight hours by 30 per cent from last year. Such performance drove Royal Jet's revenues up by 32 per cent - its highest level ever. More significantly, based on current market forecasts, this growth trajectory will be maintained well into 2012.

"This award is such a welcome start for the year 2012 as it expresses which brand the industry and the market truly trusts and considers the best," O'Hare concluded. "We shall definitely strive even harder as we look forward on maintaining our excellent market reputation and hopefully receive our sixth award at the end of this year."
