Dubai, Hertz has entered into a new partnership with Royal Jordanian to provide preferential rates and rewards to members of the airline’s frequent flyer program, Royal Plus and offering global car rental benefits to other customers booking flights online.

As a result of the new three-year agreement, airline’s frequent flyer program members may take advantage of the available rates on car rentals at Hertz locations across the airline’s international network of 59 destinations, while earning miles for each booking.

Michel Taride, Hertz International's president and Hertz Corporation's executive vice president said: “We are very happy to have established a partnership with Royal Jordanian, and view this as an opportunity to build a lasting working relationship based on strong business synergies.

“We are both committed to ensuring that our customers benefit from the latest innovations, developments and enhancements in travel service, comfort and ease of access. Hertz looks forward to providing Royal Plus members, and may other Royal Jordanian passengers, with many attractive car rental offers, as well as great service around the world.”

Amer Hadidi, Royal Jordanian's president and chief executive officer added, “We are pleased to work with Hertz, a worldwide leading car rental brand. Through our partnership with Hertz, we enhance the passenger’s travel experience by delivering more benefits. Our vision is to expand our partners’ network and thus reward our loyal customers with generous, non-airline services.

“We understand that our customers look for further privileges, therefore we are working on new partnerships that go beyond earning air miles to include many other comprehensive services, thus meeting the demands of our passengers and boosting their satisfaction.”
