Purpose
Based in Casablanca, Morocco, the jobholder is responsible to ensure the smooth running of different HR functions within the company.
 Support the HR Manager in terms of: employee relations matters; talent resourcing, payroll handling, staff development & motivation, generating HR reports and other HR functions.


Main Responsibilities
Payroll: Responsible for the implementation and ongoing compliance of the payroll system. Ensures the accuracy of the data and pay calculations by checking all related documents/cases e.g. checking all staff movements in terms of leave; adding pay increments if agreed and approved in the contract; paying seniority calculations as applicable by law; adding new joiners on the system accurately; including absenteeism calculations; addressing disciplinary issues that affect pay; ensures calculations in terms of resignation/termination of contracts are included in the pay system; ensuring adhoc payments and deductions are carried out and calculation of all social, legal and regulatory taxes and payments etc… are addressed before processing staff payments. Obtains written approval for all payments from the COO before including in the payroll sheet. Ensures no salary computations or adhoc payments are included or changed (increased or decreased) without the written authorization of the COO. 
PAYROLL CONFIDENTIALITY: Ensure confidentiality of all Payroll related transactions and reports are effected in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
PAYROLL RUN – Ensure the timely and accurate processing of the Monthly Payroll according to the schedule defined in order for employees to receive their salary every month end.
PAYROLL INFORMATION SANCTITY CHECK– Ensure the data within the system is accurate at all times by validating the information. The payroll should be 100% error free and should be run in line with the overall company regulations and requirements. 
HR - ESS system Management: Assists the HR Manager for the implementation and ongoing compliance of the Employee Self Service system, educate the stakeholders/employees. 
MIS / REPORTS: Ensure the accurate preparation and timely submission of periodic HR - MIS reports to the HR Manager and the HQ by the 01st of every month or immediately after the payroll closure whichever is earlier.
Budget : Assists the HR Manager in the preparation of the the manpower cost budget by calculating all information accurately and preparing the reports and statements required for final presentation to the COO/Head of Human Resources at Head Office.
Disciplinary Actions: Supports and advices the Line Managers and the HR Manager in addressing disciplinary cases as per the Progressive Disciplining policy and in compliance of the Moroccan regulations. Processes the relevant letters i.e warning letter or termination of contracts after documenting the case and obtaining necessary approvals etc. 
Attrition: Assists the HR Manager in conducting Exit Interviews for employees leaving the organization and submit a comprehensive attrition report to the HR Manager.
Recruitment / Selection: Assists the HR Manager in all recruitment processes i.e. reviewing the manpower requirement against budgets. Ensures all approvals are pre-obtained prior to start of recruitment process. Ensures Line Managers comply with the procedures laid down in the manual. Assists the Line Manager and the HR Manager in the preparation of Job Descriptions. Assists HR Manager in the sourcing of candidates by reviewing cvs; shortlisting candidates; pre-screening candidates and submitting the feedback to the HR Manager. Assists in the selection process by ensuring all documentations are prepared internally and also obtained from the candidate selected before preparing an employment contract for the candidate. 
New Joiners ‘On–Boarding’: Ensures new joiners are inducted professionally into the organization by providing them with all necessary assistance upon joining, issuing the updated job description, advising them on company policies and procedures and collecting all necessary documents to update their personal files with the organization.
Corporate Induction program: Assists the HR Manager in conducting the monthly Induction program for new joiners in line with the laid down practices. 
Performance Appraisal: Responsible for ensuring that the probationary appraisal processes are completed in a timely manner in line with the policy. Ensures the release of confirmation letters/probation extension letters as applicable. Assists the HR Manager in the smooth implementation of the Employee Performance Management System (EPMS) and guides Line Manager / Department Head to handle the process through the automated mode. Keeps the HR Manager informed of all developments, concerns and status of the program.

General Functions
  • Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs such as insurance, and other Airline benefits.
  • Updates the organization structure and presents it periodically.
  • Provide staff advocacy in support of a healthy grievance procedure and open door atmosphere.
  • Act as a resource for clarifying company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all physical employee files; records and contracts. Ensures confidentiality of records and information on all sensitive matters within HR. Ensures the timely and accurate preparation of all legal contracts including promotion letters; salary increments; training bonds etc.. 
  • Constantly review the HR manual and answer enquiries/provide advice and relevant information to Line Managers and Employees when in doubt of HR proceedings and policies. 

Desired Profile
  • Must be a Moroccan national
  • Min: University degree with specialization in HR management or other closely related fields.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic and French 
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in HR functions in Morocco.
  • Knowledge of Moroccan Labor and taxation Laws and other legislations
