Dubai International Passenger Traffic Surges 25 percentage in September

Dubai,  Dubai Airports announced its September traffic results for Dubai International today reporting a 25 per cent surge in year-on-year passenger numbers and an 11.3 per cent rise in international freight volumes. For the second consecutive month passenger numbers fell just short of the 4 million mark at 3,988,804 up 25 per cent compared to the same period last year when 3,190,408 passengers passed through the facility. Strong Air Service Growth in the Middle East: Report Says

Washington, DC, Air service to the Middle East continues to expand, reports OAG  the aviation intelligence firm. In its monthly Frequency and Capacity Trend Statistics (FACTS) report, OAG reports strong air service growth to the Middle East, increasing 11%, overall, in September. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is a strong contributor to that growth, increasing 14% in seat capacity, year over year. ALAFCO opts for the A350-900

ALAFCO, the Kuwait-based international Aviation Lease and Finance Company, has converted its existing firm order for 12 Airbus A350-800’s placed in 2007, into the higher capacity A350 -900 model.
