Boeing Delivers First 777-300ER in U.S. to American Airlines

Everett, Wash., Boeing (NYSE: BA) delivered to American Airlines today its first 777-300ER (extended range) jetliner as part of the airline's fleet modernization effort and global network strategy. The delivery makes the Fort Worth, Texas-based carrier the first U.S. airline to add the 777-300ER to its fleet.

Boeing, Turkish Airlines Finalize Order for 15 777-300ERs Aircraft

Istanbul, Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Turkish Airlines have finalized a firm order for 15 777-300ER (Extended Range) airplanes worth $4.7 billion at list prices. The agreement, first announced in October as a commitment, also includes options for five additional 777-300ERs and is the largest order by value in Turkish Airlines' history.
