H.E. Ali Majed Al Mansoori, Chairman of ADAC, said: "ADAC is committed to developing the needed infrastructure and expanding its services at all its airports towards developing the aviation sector in the Emirate. Business aviation is growing strongly in the region and Al Bateen Executive Airport, the only dedicated business aviation airport in the Middle East, has established itself as a leader in the industry, as it registers double digit growth in traffic movement year on year. Therefore, ADAC is always eager to support all initiatives that will lead to further development and growth.

"This MoU will present tangible opportunities to both Al Bateen Airport and Royal Jet, and we look forward to growing this partnership to further support the growth plans and strategies of both entities," added Al Mansoori.

This MoU offers support for Royal Jet’s operational growth by providing all line maintenance facilities including office space, aircraft parking, land for future development of Royal Jet’s operations, and VIP terminal facilities.

“Royal Jet’s operations at Al Bateen Executive Airport signify the consistent and continuous upward growth that the private jet industry has experienced in the last five years,” said Shane O’Hare. “This supports the double digit growth and the overall aviation strategy and is in line with Abu Dhabi’s 2030 Vision.  Additionally, it complements our FBO facility at Abu Dhabi International Airport, customer demand and industry needs.”

Al Bateen Executive Airport has become famous for its location at the heart of the city of Abu Dhabi and its ability to deliver the specific needs of VIP’s and businessmen in fast and, efficient and confidential travel services, by being the only dedicated executive airport in the region.

Today’s agreement is a major milestone which comes on the back of 10 continuous years of successful operation and heralds a new era of growth for Royal Jet, the world's largest single BBJ operator.

The signed MoU reflects Royal Jet’s growth and expansion plans though the gradual transition of its principal operating base to Al Bateen Executive Airport.

“Our business proposition is all about providing a highly bespoke service. Having joined hands with an airport that also provides bespoke service to the private aviation industry is a show of strength. Royal Jet is proud to be associated with Al Bateen Executive Airport,” O’Hare concluded.
