In addition, a number of system modifications, in-flight entertainment (IFE) system upgrades and a heavy maintenance C-Check is planned. According to SR Technics, as part of the cabin  refurbishment, multiple materials will be replaced, adhering to the existing design guidelines and color schemes currently used on the aircraft. This will include new carpeting and flooring as well as the re-upholstering of seats. New furniture and cabinets will be added and hand-crafted together with minor cabin reconfiguration. For the system modifications an upgrade of the satellite communications system with an on-board GSM installation, the existing  IFE system will be replaced with newer technologies and high definition monitors.
