ADAC Concludes its Students' Summer Training Program for Emirati Nationals

Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) concluded  this week its students program at Abu Dhabi International Airport for Emirati nationals. The program, ran between 18 June -26 July, witnessed the participation of 73 Emirati students from different schools and universities across the UAE.

ADAC’s annual "Student Ambassador Summer Program" aims at promoting awareness among Emirati youth of the aviation industry and supports the need for human capital in this market. The internship program commenced with an orientation session held at ADAC’s Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies (GCAS) to explain the scope of operations at the airport and its environment.  It then moves to practical learning covering functions as customer services, cargo and marketing.

Sultan Khalfan Al Mansouri, ADAC's head of recruitment, emiratisation & talent management, said, “ADAC developed this summer training program for National students in line with the national strategy of creating a new generation capable of maintaining the growth and development our nation is currently witnessing.
