Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Airports Company’s (ADAC) information & communication systems department (ICS) today received ISO20000 certification for service management, complying with the requirements of Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC).

The certification was presented to Jim E. Bennett ADAC’s chief executive officer and Hamed Al Hashemi ADAC’s vice president ICS by Paul Fox, deputy head of mission of the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Ahmad Al Khatib, general manager, assurance and testing – of BSI Middle East and Africa.

ISO/IEC 20000 is an internationally recognized service management system (SMS) standard and will work to align the IT services with ADAC business objectives, according to the airports company.
