flynas Launches Four Flights a Week Between Aswan and Jeddah

CAIRO - flynas, Saudi Arabia’s low cost carrier, announced the launch of four weekly flights between Aswan and Jeddah starting from 27 January 2014 marking its sixth destination in Egypt.

Raja Azmi, chief executive officer of flynas, said: “Egypt is a key destination for flynas and we have added a sixth city starting from 27 January as part of our plans to expand our network in Egypt and we hope to announce another major and strategic destination in Egypt in the near future to be added to our comprehensive network in this country.”

Saudi Arabia’s low cost carrier current destinations in Egypt are Alexandria, Assiut, Sohag, Luxor and Sharm El Sheikh and Aswan

flynas plan to add more destinations as part the airline’s strategy dubbed 20X20 with a target of 20 million passengers yearly by 2020, which includes widening its customer segmentation.

Since the launch in 2007, flynas has carried more than 15 million passengers on 140,000 flights, with the highest rate of passengers growth recorded in 2013 by carrying 3.3 million passengers with a re-branding of its corporate identity recently.
