Thursday, 06 January 2011
JorAMCo signed a maintenance agreement with the British carrier Astraeus Airlines, The agreement covers performing 4C check tasks and CPCP tasks on their Boeing 737-300, in the hope that this will be a start of a long term relationship between the two companies.

Is worth mentioning that this is the second business partner for JorAMCo in the UK, and this agreement will strengthen JorAMCo's presence in the British aviation market specifically and the European market in general.

Astraeus Airlines commenced operations in 2002 with B737 aircraft, basing itself as a Gatwick operator with a second base at Manchester. The head office is located close to Gatwick Airport and still remains in the original location. It soon established itself as a reliable charter carrier providing lift to UK Leisure tour operators for both summer and winter seasons. By 2004 the fleet was augmented by the addition of B757 equipment. The business model for Astraeus Airlines is to provide aircraft to other airlines on dry, damp and wet lease contracts.
