Dubai World Central Launches Office Space for the SMEs

DWC is a 140 sq km city airport “aerotropolis” with the Al Maktoum International Airport as its focus. DUBAI - Dubai World Central, (DWC), has announced it is offering office space at its business park free zone, targeting the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector.

The offices are in three ranges, small offices of 45 sq m to 90 sq meters, medium offices of 100 sq meters to 400 sq m and large offices of 500 sq meters and above.

DWC, an initiative of the Government of Dubai launched as an airport city "aerotoropolis" is 30 minutes from central Dubai, 15 minutes from New Dubai and Marina, and 45 minutes to Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island and Abu Dhabi International Airport.

With the rapidly expanding Al Maktoum International Airport and Jebel Ali Port, the aerotropolis is expected to account for 60 percent of Dubai’s gross domestic product (GDP) by 2023, according to DWC.
 
Paolo Serra, director of Business Park, Dubai World Central, said: “The Business Park is an integral part of Dubai World Central and has witnessed an increased demand in office space in 2014. More than 20,000 square meters of office space has been leased in 2014 to date with additional space being fitted out at present to cater to Dubai’s SME segment.

"With premium infrastructure and flexibility to grow and expand in future, we are confident that the Business Park will continue to attract an increasing number of blue chip companies looking to establish their presence in the Middle East.”

The buildings in the business park are the under ownership of the Dubai Aviation City Corporation, over 1,000 companies are registered with DWC Business Park.
