Dubai, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Capital has selected Parker Aerospace, an operating group of Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies to supply hydraulic engine-driven and AC motor pumps on its Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320 aircraft.

Parker Aerospace’s Hydraulic Systems Division, with facilities in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Wiesbaden, Germany, will supply the engine-driven pumps and AC motor pumps for the aircraft.

These pumps are used to provide pressure to the hydraulic systems that support actuation throughout the aircraft, including, flight controls, the landing gear, thrust reversers, and cargo doors.

Bob Genise, CEO of DAE Capital, said “We at DAE are delighted with our selection of Parker hydraulic pumps and believe their equipment’s mature design and reliability, resulting in lower operating costs will greatly benefit our customers.” “Parker is honored to have been selected to provide hydraulic pumps for DAE’s aircraft,” said Parker Aerospace Hydraulic Systems Division Vice President and General Manager Greg Bierlein. “We look forward to working with DAE and providing needed support to its fleet of aircraft.” Delivery of DAE’s 70 Boeing 737-800s will begin in 2010, with deliveries of 70 Airbus A320s beginning in 2011.
