SR Technics and Aigle Azur Launch Joint Venture for Line Maintenance in France

Zurich, Switzerland: SR Technics, part of the Mubadala Aerospace MRO network, and the French airline Aigle Azur will establish a joint venture (JV) to provide line and light maintenance activities for the airline’s Airbus A320 and future Airbus A330 fleets.

Operations will start in July in Paris-Orly. This will be the main country hub for SR Technics France, which include a number of outstations, including Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Marseille, and later Lyon.

The new entity will be headed by Frederic Schnider, general manager SR Technics France, who has been working for the company for over  20 years. SR Technics will be the majority shareholder of the JV with 90 employees in line maintenance in Paris

The services provided include general line maintenance capabilities, extended light maintenance offering, such as cabin maintenance, paint services, sheet metal, interior cleaning, and engine and aircraft washing.
