Saudi Airlines Cargo Announce Appointment of a New Regional Director for Indian Sub Continent

Jeddah, Saudi Airlines Cargo Company announced the appointment of Keku Gazder as Regional Director Cargo for the Indian Sub Continent Region, effective 1st of April 2012.

With over 23 years of experience in the airfreight industry,  during his career he has held a number of key positions at Al Rais Cargo, Kencargo International Airlines, Martinair Cargo. Most recently, at Air France-KLM Cargo and Martinair Cargo where he was Deputy Director with a special focus on the development of SPL freighters in the Middle East and South Asia region.

“I am delighted to announce the appointment of Keku Gazder,” said Peter Scholten, VP Commercial at Saudi Airlines Cargo. “His extensive knowledge of the cargo industry, particularly in the Middle East and South Asia, will be a tremendous asset to Saudi Airlines Cargo,” he added.

In his new role at Saudia Cargo, Gazder will be responsible for the further development of the cargo markets in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Reporting directly to Peter Scholten, he will be based in Chennai where the new regional head office of the Indian Sub Continent region will be set up.

Gazder holds a degree in Economics from Loyola College and a Post Graduate Diploma specializing in Financial Management and Research from IFMR (Chennai).
