Libyan Airlines, previously known as Libyan Arab Airlines, is the national flag carrier airline of Libya. It is based in Tripoli and operates scheduled passenger and cargo services covering Libya, Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Its main base is Tripoli International Airport.
The airline star founded in 1964 and started services in October 1965 as Kingdom of Libya Airlines. Subsequently, it carried the name of Libyan Arab Airlines and Jamahiriya Libyan Arab Airlines.
