
Buraq Air, based in Tripoli, Buraq Air operates scheduled domestic and international services. It also operates passenger and cargo charter services in support of the oil industry based on a joint venture with CHC. The hub of Buraq Air is Tripoli International Airport.
The airline is the first to be privately owned in Libya. It began operations on November 15, 2001.
