Qatar Airways: Bus Dispatcher   

About Your Job::

• The post holder will be responsible for the smooth operation of Vehicle and Driver Dispatching by supporting the Transport Coodinator and Qatar Airways User Groups in Doha through effective and efficient planning and accomplishing all transport activities in a timely, safe and economical manner.
• The position will be operating on a 24/7 basis for both internal and external clients, making sure dispatching of day to day activities of Transport Section and Vechicles. You will providing point of contact for all drivers and customers, ensuring smooth running of the service. You will also require to despatch third party logistics, supply drivers and vehicles to ensure that all shift requirements are met in a timely and safe manner.

About You::

• For this role you will require to hold a high school qualification with 5 years of job related experience, or hold Trade or Vocational Qualification. You must have experience working in a multicultural and international environment and dealing with third party logistic suppliers. You must have driving experience, which includes dispatching best practices, route delivery procedures, along with security and operational procedures.
• You will need to have knowledge of vehicle and driver planning, and scheduling, must be able to deal with third party logistics suppliers. Oversee and supervise both company and thrid party drivers ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
