Qatar Airways: Cargo Duty Officer   

About your Job:

• As a Cargo Duty Officer- Freighter Station, you will be responsible for managing the cargo operations at Airport through close coordination with the contracted GHA, GSA and own staff when applicable.  You will ensure strict compliance to IATA regulations for effective movement of inbound and outbound cargo.  
• You will have a direct oversight of the local GHA and GSA, ensuring strict adherence to guideline as directed by Qatar Airways Cargo quality standards and in collaboration with the GSA manage the space allocation and bookings.  
• You will be a primary point of contact for local government authorities, not limited to TSA, USCBP and FAA.  You will have to ensure strict adherence to current TSA All Cargo International Security Program (ACISP) and Model Security Program (MSP). 
• You have to supervise and audit cargo build up to ensure the maximised utilization of pallets and containers and also assist HDQ for import cargo functions. You should have been trained on Weight and Balance, Cargo Warehouse & Security & Ramp Handling. 
• You will ensure that the GHA performs proper ULD control, coordinate cargo irregularities such as missing cargo, documents, DG’s etc. You will also provide assistance with Service cargo. COMAT, Catering, Aircraft spares, etc and also audit and approve monthly invoices from the GHA. 

About You:

• You should have a Bachelors degree or equivalent with minimum of 4 Years of Job related experience with atleast 2 Years in the Airfreight industry and preferably experience in handling of Cargo freighter operations. 
• You should have skills in Air Cargo Management, Ramp handling course, DGR, Warehouse & Security and Weight and Balance.  
• You should also have a detailed knowledge of TSA regulations, IATA Cargo Handling, IATA Cargo Service manual and other pertinent operational regulations.
